Shipping & FAQ

How do you ship, and how much will it cost?
We love free shipping, and we know you do too! But we also know (and we know you know) that "free" shipping is built into the price of the product—it isn't really free. And just like you, we get frustrated when we shop online only to find at checkout that shipping is way more than we anticipated. So to give you the best product price, and so that you'll never be unpleasantly surprised, your shipping cost will never be more than $7 per order. Here's what you can expect at checkout:
  • Orders weighing over 13 oz. ship USPS Priority Mail for a flat rate of $7.
  • Orders weighing 13 oz. or less ship USPS First Class for $2.66 - $5.53 depending on exact weight and destination. We will refund excess shipping charges to you when we purchase the shipping label.
  • We typically ship within two business days of order.
How can I pay?

Is your site secure?
Yes! You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your order. We get your money through PayPal later.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
What if I want to purchase a product that I saw at your Raleigh shop or at a festival, but it's not listed on your website?
No problem! Just email us your request, and we'll email you with the purchase total. If it meets your approval, we'll send you a PayPal invoice. Remember, you don't have to have a Paypal account to pay through Paypal.
I've read your Privacy Statement, and I don't want to opt in. How should I contact you to place an order?
Email your order to carol@blinkingtoad.com, and we will send you a paypal invoice. You can read Paypal's Consumer Privacy Notice here:
